Thank You

Good morning everyone, Hope you all had a smashing weekend,I had a busy day on Friday I went  to Birmingham NEC to surprise the girls on the team they didn't have a clue I was going , to see there faces it was priceless I well and truly surprised them and so many cuddles it was fantastic.
I got to meet our Dawny Phillips for the first time and Jennifer Kray  & Keren Taylor and the lovely Christine Smith and i also got to meet again the lovely Claire Rhodes Brandon,Alison Whelan and not forgetting Karen Rowland and Mandy Taylor it was so fabulous to see them all again I also got to meet Christina griffiths so it was an amazing day I did manage to purchase a few things but I didn't go mad the show was great but not as big as it used to be it was a long day I travelled by train with one change over going and the same on my return all the trains were sitting on the platform on my way there and going home so no waiting around which was fabulous.

Right I better share a card I created for Tonic Studios the gorgeous DL Layering Die Sets Jodie Was show casing on Hochanda over the weekend.
This card reminds me of a screen type of card, scored into 3x  sections with a 1" score line each side of the middle section, the corners were then rounded with a corner punch and it was a good excuse to pull out some pretty papers for the centre panels each side, the card base is from an A4 sheet of 300gsm cut to the size to match which layer of die I wanted to use.I seem to be favouring pink tones at the moment ,do you  ever find you go through a phase of sticking to a couple of colours hmm I don't think I am alone  on that one .

Hope you all enjoyed  Tonic Studios weekender they are really stunning die sets and if you caught the shows you would have seen Edna Taylor's  Handbag card it was a genius idea I absolutely loved it.

Hamper / Mail box

Good morning  everyone & welcome to my blog , today i have a step by step picture tutorial sharing how i created the American style mail box from Tonic Studios Hamper Die box, available from Hochanda,  join Jodie at 10am for the launch show. I made another Mail box in a Christmas theme for the tutorial just to show that it would make a beautiful decoration or gift at Christmas time and if you have Tonics festive Builldable collection then you could make this Christmas version. . But the version I made for the launch is this  very pretty floral one  using all the dies that come in the Hamper set.
The little handle for you on the mail box is fastened with a brad so it moves up and down.
Inside the mail box is a mini envelope from our sweet nothings dimensions die set with some twine wrapped around the envelope a gift to you.you could place money or a gift card inside the envelope and then some sweeties or handmade fudge in the base of the box .
All die cut in pastel shades base is d…

Memory albums 2 Christmas Themed

Good morning everyone, just popping by to share the Memory Book 2 collection with you from Tonic Studios, also at the bottom of this blog post you will find a step by step slide show of me talking my way  through a basic album ,you  certainly  love these albums and being a newbie to albums myself I am  getting a bit addicted.
The first album I would like to share with you  is Christmas themed I know Christmas, but thinking ahead what a fantastic way of keeping those treasured memories past or present for gifts or yourself to pass down through the family. I think it's so important to put photos in albums with as much journaling as you can ,my husband and I have many photos  in our loft and nobody to ask who these picture's  are as there are no dates or names on the back of the photos and all my husband's side have passed away so i think this is so important.

All the album is decorated with craft perfect card stock apart from the red base card which is fill a box and is 3oogs…
